You will assist in ordering, inventory controls, training, and supervision of the Produce team, while ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math knowledge.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.

• Perform general housekeeping and safety duties; follow health regulations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate produce equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Order and inventory control, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards by proper receiving, processing, pricing, and rotation.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, and training the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
