Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Manager to lead the Produce Department, ensuring high-quality products, excellent customer service, and efficient operations. You will manage staff, inventory, and merchandising while promoting a safe and friendly shopping environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in grocery, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends in a fast-paced retailer setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have 1-3 years of grocery retail experience with produce management.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Housekeeping, safety, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate equipment as needed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handlers permit required.
• Experience with personnel and financial reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Produce Department.
• Ensure quality control, merchandising, cleanliness, and organization.
• Manage inventory and staffing; schedule planning and adjustments.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and promotions.
• Attend in-store meetings; collaborate with Store Manager on hiring and promotions.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality produce and customer service.
• Act as Key Carrier or MOD as needed.
