Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Produce Manager to lead one of our busiest departments and help customers make healthy choices every day in a fast-paced, friendly store. You will assist the Produce Manager with scheduling, merchandising, inventory control, product quality, and supervising the Produce team to deliver the finest quality and service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with basic math, weights & measures knowledge.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly and able to interact with customers.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep work area clean and sanitized.
• Follow safety, health and weights & measures rules, including a Food Handlers permit.
• Able to stand/walk/bend/climb and lift up to 50 lbs for long shifts.
• Able to operate a pallet jack to move pallets up to 20 ft.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards by proper receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation of items.
• Lead a team that delivers high quality product and service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed across the department.
