Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Colorado Springs invites an experienced Produce Manager to lead the Produce Department, ensuring top quality produce, superior service, and strong store performance. You will guide staff, manage inventory, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach through performance reviews, arrange schedules, and collaborate with the Store Manager on promotions and staffing decisions, while delivering an exceptional customer shopping

Qualifications

• Experience leading a department in a grocery setting is preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop team members through performance discussions.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Produce Department.
• Manage quality control and maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Handle inventory management and cost controls.
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in merit reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and communicate standards and policies.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff with Store Manager collaboration.
• Address team concerns and take corrective actions as needed.
• Adjust schedules and staffing to maximize productivity.
• Lead a team focused on quality, service, and customer experience.
• Act as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as required.
