Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Manager to lead the Produce Department and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will oversee quality, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and team development while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Your role includes recruiting and promoting staff in collaboration with the Store Manager, attending meetings, and making decisions to optimize productivity and service levels.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years grocery retail experience with management in produce.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform housekeeping and follow safety/weights-and-measures regulations.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Produce Department.
• Ensure quality control, merchandising, cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and scheduling to maximize productivity.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in hiring decisions with Store Manager.
• Address team concerns with independent judgment and take corrective actions as needed.
• Lead a collaborative team to deliver high-quality produce and service.
• Act as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
