Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to expedite orders, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain timely procurement workflows at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. You will review open orders, negotiate with vendors, and support multi‑discipline teams to meet critical milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years of procurement experience, with familiarity in FAR and ISMS practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years relevant experience depending on grade level.
• Knowledge of FAR and procurement regulations.
• Experience with procurement cycles, RFQs, and RFPs.
• ISMS principles incorporated into procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays.
• Review open orders and manage delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Track critical parts and resolve potential workflow delays.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve receiving issues and NCRs.
• Generate procurement documents and maintain tracking data.
