Job summary

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure, LLC seeks a seasoned Buyer Technical Representative to support or develop procurement strategies and administer subcontracts within the Tank Farm Projects Construction department in Richland, WA. The role interfaces with project teams, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The position requires a bachelor’s in business/finance or related field and extensive experience in procurement, contracts, and cost control, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Seven (7) years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Nine (9) years relevant experience for Grade 19 or ten (10) years for Grade 20.
• Successfully completes the BTR Qualification within sixty (60) days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support or develop procurement strategies and administer subcontracts.
• Interface between Project Team, Procurement and Subcontractor on technical/administrative matters.
• Develop Subcontract Statements of Work (SOW) and ensure evaluation criteria are included.
• Monitor subcontract progress and expenditures to avoid funding or performance issues.
• Assist in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and review invoices.
