Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a procurement leader to manage plant procurement operations, leading a team of specialists and planners to meet BU goals. The role focuses on securing supply, driving cost savings, and mitigating supplier risk.

The selected candidate will oversee ERP-enabled procurement, forecast raw materials, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align with production schedules. Relocation to Northern New Jersey with full support is provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a business, supply chain, or engineering field.
Minimum 6 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, UCC laws, and import/export laws.
U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
Role involves access to export-controlled items; eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Oversee overall Plant procurement operations across direct, indirect, and capital spend.
Mentor and lead Plant Procurement Specialists and Supply Chain Planners.
Align procurement strategies with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
Share savings targets with Location Management and stakeholders.
Negotiate and execute supplier contracts and agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to hit targets.
Ensure ERP procurement processes are executed successfully, including ERP upgrades.
Forecast raw materials, manage inventory, and control costs.
