Job summary

Augmentis Group is seeking a seasoned Plant Procurement Manager to lead the procurement operations for a major aerospace manufacturing client. You will guide Plant Procurement Specialists and Supply Chain Planners to support production schedules while securing value, compliance, and cost savings.

The role emphasizes supplier risk mitigation, contract negotiations, and ERP-driven processes to optimize inventory and materials flow across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, IT, etc.).
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of procurement and financial best practices and compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley, UCC Laws, Import/Export Laws).
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled item access and related eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the overall Plant procurement operations, including direct, indirect, and capital spend.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Plant Procurement Specialists and Supply Chain Planners.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Finance to align procurement with BU goals.
• Share plant savings targets with Location Management, Category Management, and stakeholders.
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and execution of agreements to support plant needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement countermeasures to resolve issues.
• Communicate supplier issues to BU Procurement and Quality teams.
• Review Plant Procurement metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure procurement compliance with auditing standards.
• Oversee ERP-related procurement processes and system enhancements.
• Forecast Raw Material needs, manage inventory and costs, and address BOM issues affecting inventory accuracy.
• Oversee ERP item and raw material transactions and cycle count accuracy.
• Lead project-related teams on plant procurement and supply chain initiatives.
• Balance competing priorities and deadlines across the business.
