Augmentis is representing a client in the role of Procurement Specialist to support two major Procurement Teams. The position focuses on securing supply, cost savings, process optimization, and supplier risk mitigation to sustain production schedules and maximize value.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and ITAR US person status, with preferred experience in Oracle ERP and Office tools. On-site work in Suffolk, VA with day‑1 benefits and upward mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status (U.S. citizen or green card holder).
• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.

Responsabilités

• Prepare RFQs and RFPs based on Plant requirements.
• Review quotations and perform cost analyses to determine best value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times aligned with Plant goals.
• Place purchase orders based on approved requisitions to support production and inventory needs.
• Manage and maintain purchase orders with accurate pricing and vendor dates.
• Monitor invoices on hold and resolve with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Receiving to reconcile shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Accounts Payable, and Facilities to resolve Plant issues.
• Assist onboarding of new suppliers and new item setups.
• Ensure procurement procedures meet quality and financial audits.
