Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Segment Project Procurement Specialist to support multiple North American plants with procurement strategies, including CAPEX sourcing, supplier onboarding, and contract management. The role emphasizes collaboration with Legal and Finance and requires travel to supported sites.

The position can be based in the Great Lakes region, with a focus on ensuring cost efficiency, security of supply, and compliance across the division.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise business system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position involves access to export-controlled items, and employment offers are conditioned on the applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

• Review plant requirements and statements of work (SOWs) to identify potential suppliers and contractors.
• Create, review, and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders with precise scope, requirements, deliverables, performance metrics, pricing, schedule, and terms.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract procedures.
• Monitor contract performance and provide risk mitigation actions as necessary.
• Lead CAPEX projects, including sourcing and procurement of capital equipment, machinery, and building materials, from proposal review through contract execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project timelines and manage deliverables to avoid delays.
