Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a procurement professional to support two major procurement teams in a complex manufacturing environment. The role focuses on security of supply, cost savings, and process optimization while ensuring supplier risk mitigation.

Relocation is fully covered and the selected candidate may work remotely for 30–60 days to ease the transition before relocating to Connecticut. ITAR compliance and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• This position is ITAR-restricted to a U.S. person (citizen or green card holder).

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and proposals based on Plant requirements.
• Review quotations and perform cost analyses to determine best value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times aligned with Plant goals.
• Place and manage purchase orders to support production and inventory needs.
• Coordinate with Receiving to reconcile shipping docs and pricing.
• Collaborate across Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, QA, Accounts Payable, Facilities.
• Assist onboarding of new suppliers and item set-ups; ensure audits compliance.
