Vallen is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at a customer location, handling procurement of products and materials that meet price, quality, timing, and supply reliability. You will ensure orders align with Vallen’s purchasing strategies and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

The role emphasizes accurate processing, vendor coordination, and proactive problem solving to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management software.

Responsabilités

• Procure materials to meet customer demand in line with purchasing strategies.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders to ensure optimal delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor orders.
• Evaluate vendors and items to meet specs, price, and delivery standards.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products and coordinate returns if needed.
• Track purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and document them.
