Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support materials, equipment, and service procurements for electrical construction and manufacturing operations. You will issue purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, maintain records, reconcile invoices, and help drive procurement improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with construction or industrial purchasing preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Spectrum or Foundation preferred.
• Basic understanding of purchasing, procurement, and accounting principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on project, manufacturing, and departmental requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm order details, delivery locations, and schedules.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist with sourcing vendors and obtaining competitive quotations.
• Maintain purchasing records and ERP data accuracy (pricing, lead times, vendor data).
• Reconcile purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for payment processing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and vendor performance.
