Job summary

Hooper is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to streamline procurement and administrative operations for the Electric Power division. This role sources and purchases materials, obtains vendor estimates, and maintains accurate records of orders and inventory.

The ideal candidate will coordinate delivery schedules, manage purchasing, and ensure efficient material flow to support operations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5+ years of purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Request, obtain, and evaluate estimates from vendors for materials required by the Electric Power division.
• Purchase materials and supplies in accordance with project specifications and budget requirements.
• Track and monitor order status from placement through delivery to ensure timely receipt.
• Log and document all received materials in the inventory management system.
• Schedule and coordinate material deliveries with vendors and internal teams.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
