Job summary

The City of New York, Department of Transportation, Division of Bridges, seeks an Associate Contract Specialist to support the procurement lifecycle for ESA Task Orders and CMA processing. You will work closely with ACCO and internal teams to ensure compliant documents, accurate cost verification, and timely solicitations.

Responsibilities include using PASSPort for RFx management, reviewing CMAs, and coordinating with engineering and finance to secure funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional, technical or administrative experience in procurement/contract management, program evaluation, or project management.
• Four-year high school diploma and six years of related experience in the cited fields.
• Education/experience equivalent to the above combinations may be substituted to meet the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use competitive procurement methods (PASSPort, bids, sole source) and manage procurement documentation.
• Review CMAs and process paperwork for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Verify Task Order costs against certified payrolls and staffing rosters in Excel.
• Prepare and review RFx and Item Grids; coordinate with project teams for solicitations.
• Collaborate with ACCO and financial teams to ensure funding prior to procurement.
