Job summary

City of New York is seeking a seasoned contracts/procurement professional to manage the Division’s contracts, ESA Task Orders and IT procurements. The role requires collaboration with ACCO and Financial Management Units to ensure policy-compliant procurement.

The Associate Contract Specialist will handle bid processes, document review, funding verification, and contract registration workflows using FMS3 and PASSPort, contributing to secure, timely procurements for NYC bridges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of related experience, or a four-year high school diploma and six years of related experience.
• Diversity of procurement functions including contract negotiations, fiscal management, and project management.
• Experience with government procurement regulations and budgeting processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Division contracts and ESA Task Orders and IT procurements.
• Coordinate with ACCO and Financial Management Units on procurement actions.
• Review and process RFx documents and ensure compliance with policies.
