Olin Chemicals is seeking a Procurement Co‑Op for Spring 2027 in Houston, TX, offering hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and supplier engagement. You will lead several projects, support RFPs, and help drive cost-reduction initiatives while using SAP tools.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in supply chain, operations, or business, with a 3.0+ GPA, and be eligible to work in the United States. Housing stipend is available.

Qualifications

• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 credits) before first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–Aug 2027; no virtual work.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Olin does not sponsor; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Title: Procurement Co-Op (Spring 2027)

Location: Houston, Texas

Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus:

The Procurement Co-Op supports strategic sourcing and procurement operations through supplier engagement, data analysis, and system utilization.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands‑on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Assist with competitive bid events, supplier qualification, and issuing RFPs to support sourcing initiatives
• Track supplier performance, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to cost‑reduction efforts
• Learn and apply SAP tools to support procurement activities across categories and aid in project execution

What You’ll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business‑related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May‑August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.
• A valid US Driver’s license is required
