Job summary

Olin Chemicals in Houston, Texas is seeking a Procurement Co-Op for Fall 2027 to support strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, data analysis, and system utilization.

You will lead multiple hands-on projects, assist with RFPs, track supplier performance, and gain SAP experience to aid in project execution. Must be enrolled in a relevant degree program, maintain a 3.0 GPA, be able to work full-time May–August 2027, and not require visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business‑related degree program
• Must have an overall GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times during time at Olin
• Official transcript required each term
• Cumulative GPA used for transfer college situations
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027
• Not eligible for virtual work
• A valid US Driver's license required; sponsorship not provided
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no temporary visa sponsorship now or in the future

ALL IN for Opportunity. ALL IN with Olin. Title: Procurement Co-Op (Fall 2027) Location: Houston, Texas Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students.

Focus: The Procurement Co-Op supports strategic sourcing and procurement operations through supplier engagement, data analysis, and system utilization.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands‑on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Assist with competitive bid events, supplier qualification, and issuing RFPs to support sourcing initiatives
• Track supplier performance, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to cost‑reduction efforts
• Learn and apply SAP tools to support procurement activities across categories and aid in project execution

What You'll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business‑related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin.
• An official transcript will be required each term.
• Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May‑August 2027.
• Not eligible for virtual work.
