Job summary

Olin is seeking a Procurement Co-Op (Fall 2027) in Houston, TX. Undergraduate students earn $25.00/hour; graduate students $33.00/hour. Housing stipend is available for eligible interns.

The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, data analysis, and SAP-driven procurement activities. Participants will lead multiple projects, assist with RFPs, track supplier performance, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives while gaining real-world experience in a global chemical

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (undergraduate or graduate).
• Must have GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027; not eligible for virtual work.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus: The Procurement Co-Op supports strategic sourcing and procurement operations through supplier engagement, data analysis, and system utilization.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need

• Assist with competitive bid events, supplier qualification, and issuing RFPs to support sourcing initiatives

• Track supplier performance, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to cost-reduction efforts

• Learn and apply SAP tools to support procurement activities across categories and aid in project execution

What You'll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May-August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.
• A valid US Driver's license is required
