Job summary

Dow Inc. in Ardmore, OK seeks a Junior Operator to operate and troubleshoot assigned plant equipment in a 24-hour operation. The role requires 12-hour day and night rotating shifts and adherence to safety standards. You will monitor processes, perform field checks, and support process improvements with a team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, and a valid driver’s license. An associate degree in Process Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends as required.
• Have a current, valid US driver's license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline principles to ensure safe operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Initiate and participate in root cause investigations as required.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Use measurements and tools to operate the Plant at optimum conditions.
