Job summary

Dow Inc. in Ardmore, OK, seeks a Junior Operator to run assigned equipment, troubleshoot, and support safe, reliable plant operations on a 24‑hour basis. The role requires flexibility to work 12‑hour day/night rotations and weekends, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will follow operating discipline, monitor processes, perform field checks, and collaborate with teams to meet plant goals. A high school diploma and US work authorization are required; an Associate degree or related Process

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Willing to work 12‑hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
Valid US driver’s license required.
Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Follow Operating Discipline principles to ensure safe, efficient operation.
Operate and field check process equipment.
Monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems.
Perform tasks per a standard task list including field checks and samples.
Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process deviations and maintain equipment reliability.
Initiate Root Cause Investigations as needed.
Coach and train others on plant operations.
