Dow Inc. seeks a Junior Operator to support the Ardmore, OK facility. You will operate assigned plant equipment, troubleshoot processes, and work in a 24-hour operation with day and night shifts on a rotating basis. The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and teamwork to meet plant goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring conditions, performing field checks, and collaborating with peers to sustain reliable operations while following established procedures and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have a current, valid US driver's license.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles to ensure safe, efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per a standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and maintain equipment reliability.
• Initiate and participate in root cause investigations as required.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Perform immediate response activities for unplanned events.
• Use process knowledge to improve plant performance and discipline.
• Operate plant computer control systems.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
