Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Junior Operator to support our Ardmore facility. The role operates assigned equipment, troubleshoots processes, and performs duties in a 24-hour operation with 12-hour day/night shifts on a rotating basis.

You will monitor conditions, execute task lists, and help maintain safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, the ability to work nights and weekends, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.
• U.S. driver’s license required.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles to ensure safe operation of plant areas.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per standard list including field checks and samples.
• Assist in root cause investigations and safety initiatives.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Operate forklift and use MS Office/tools for daily tasks.
