Job summary

Dow Inc. in Ardmore, OK is seeking a Junior Operator to support our facility. You will operate assigned equipment, troubleshoot, and work in a 24-hour operation on a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule.

You will follow Operating Discipline, monitor conditions, perform field checks, and train others while focusing on safety and environmental stewardship. This hands-on role requires teamwork and the ability to use MS Office and digital tools for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.
• Current, valid US driver's license required.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles to operate safely and efficiently.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and maintain reliability.
• Initiate Root Cause Investigations as needed.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Perform response activities for unplanned events.
• Use knowledge to improve plant performance and discipline.
