Dow Inc. seeks a Junior Operator to support our Ardmore, OK facility. You will operate equipment, troubleshoot processes, and work in a 24-hour operation with 12-hour day/night shifts on a rotating schedule.

The role emphasizes safe operation, teamwork, and adherence to Operating Discipline while ensuring plant performance and reliability. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends as required.
• Have a current, valid US driver's license.
• U.S. based position requires ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles to ensure safe operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks from a standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and maintain reliability.
• Initiate Root Cause Investigations as required.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Perform immediate response activities and manage unplanned events.
• Use knowledge to improve plant performance and discipline.
• Operate plant computer control systems.
• Carry out duties with safety and environmental stewardship.
• Operate a forklift/fork truck.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and digital tools for daily work.
