Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Junior Operator to support our Ardmore, OK facility. The role operates assigned equipment within a 24-hour process plant, performing tasks from field checks to troubleshooting while maintaining a strong safety focus and teamwork.

You will work 12-hour day/night shifts on a rotating schedule, using process knowledge to optimize performance and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Dow offers enhanced benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have a current, valid US driver's license.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
• Perform tasks per a standard task list including field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and maintain reliability.
• Initiate and participate in Root Cause Investigations as required.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Perform immediate response activities and manage unplanned events.
• Use knowledge to improve plant performance and operating discipline.
• Operate multiple complex plant computer control systems.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Operate forklift/fork truck.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and digital tools daily.
