Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Manager, Process Engineering to lead the SPARC Assembly process engineering team onsite in Devens. You will develop and release engineering work instructions, set group objectives, and drive efficiency across hundreds of planning tasks while partnering with design and field teams to ensure manufacturability.

The role requires 7+ years of mechanical engineering with project ownership, 2+ years of team leadership, and strong CAD (Siemens NX) skills.

Qualifications

BS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
7+ years of mechanical engineering experience with project ownership.
2+ years managing an engineering team or large-scale project.
3 years of experience with Siemens NX.
Experience with CAD tools and assembly in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of eight to fifteen process engineers and develop work instructions.
Translate department strategy into actionable group objectives and timelines.
Define and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Oversee tracking tools to manage hundreds of planning tasks for SPARC Assembly.
Collaborate with design and field teams to resolve conflicts and ensure manufacturability.
