American Woodmark Corp. seeks a Process Engineer to drive focused projects and standardization of processes, applying advanced applications and technologies on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving, and ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives. This on-site role in Anaheim emphasizes teamwork with maintenance and engineering, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required/preferred.
• Certifications in electrical, plumbing, or maintenance beneficial.
• Experience with process improvement and data analysis preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues in machining, dust extraction, assembly, and adhesives and oversee repairs.
• Maintain control over machining processes, dust extraction, and related equipment.
• Develop training materials and oversee operator training.
• Assist maintenance with complex electrical or mechanical problems.
• Ensure proper filing of technical documents (electrical prints and PLC/VFD programs).
• Lead machine upgrades to improve uptime and first pass yield.
• Provide updates to predictive maintenance and PM systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams and projects.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping on the plant floor.
• Travel up to 10–20% as needed.
