Job summary

American Woodmark is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to coordinate plant maintenance, drive capital projects, and lead continuous improvement across manufacturing, maintenance, and environmental compliance. You will shape engineering practices to optimize process flow and costs while guiding a team to meet SQDC goals.

The role requires a robust background in manufacturing engineering, a minimum of eight years in supervisory roles, and strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related discipline; extensive work experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience; wood-related preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of supervision experience; multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant maintenance for property and equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead capital projects and engineering practices to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure environmental compliance and SQDC target alignment.
• Provide team leadership, hiring input, and performance reviews.
