Job summary

American Woodmark, now part of MasterBrand, seeks a Process Engineer to lead focused projects and standardize processes across large manufacturing systems. You will drive process improvements, develop controls on the plant floor, and enhance equipment capability and maintenance.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of manufacturing experience, experience with process analysis, and strong collaboration skills. Six Sigma knowledge and CAD/Project tools are a plus in our dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Experience with MS Project and Auto-Cad is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues in machining and assembly equipment; oversee repair and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain control over machining, dust extraction, assembly, and adhesives.
• Train operators; update training materials and oversee new operator training.
• Assist maintenance with electrical or mechanical problems as needed.
• Maintain and file technical documents (electrical prints, PLC/VFD programs).
• Lead machine upgrades to improve uptime and first pass yield.
• Contribute to the predictive maintenance program (vibration analysis, thermography, amp draw).
• Participate in teams/projects and support management with guidance.
