Job summary

American Woodmark is seeking a Process Engineer to drive focused projects and standardize processes across the plant. You will lead initiatives in process improvements, advanced applications, and equipment capability while collaborating with maintenance teams to boost uptime.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with process controls, and strong analytical skills. Bilingual English/Spanish and Six Sigma exposure are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Certifications in electrical, plumbing, or maintenance would be beneficial.
• Experience with process equipment and plant floor projects is desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive focused projects and standardization of processes.
• Develop process controls and track improvements on the plant floor.
• Support maintenance with complex electrical or mechanical problems when needed.
• Lead improvements to predictive maintenance and data analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to achieve uptime goals.
