Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes across our wood products operations. You will work with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and product development to support launches and drive efficiency.

The role emphasizes CNC programming, process capability, SPC, and Lean/Six Sigma to meet safety and cost targets while maintaining quality. Travel is minimal in a collaborative, safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably woodworking or cabinetry environments.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with process capability analysis and interpreting manufacturing data.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for cabinet product lines.
• Create and validate CNC programs; support new SKU launches and production readiness.
• Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis to drive improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Lead cost-saving opportunities through waste reduction and process optimization.
• Develop process documentation and provide technical training to staff.
