Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking an engineering-focused technician to provide technical support that improves safety and manufacturing efficiency across AFNA operations. You will work on vision systems, automatic processes, and equipment optimization to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The role requires hands-on experience with vision installation, PLCs, robotics, and automation, plus collaboration with production and maintenance teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience.
• 3–5 years of vision system installation and application.
• 2–3 years working with pneumatics, conveyors, sensors, robots, AMRs, vision systems, HMIs, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to engineers and maintenance teams.
• Lead development and execution of vision system projects and documentation.
• Design, program, configure, and validate vision systems for quality assurance.
• Train operators on new equipment and procedures; participate in acceptance testing.
