Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled engineer to provide technical support in our Mundelein, IL facility. You will maintain safe manufacturing operations while optimizing processes, and you will develop and deploy vision systems and robotics to enhance quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include training operators, solving complex equipment issues, and leading validation activities to ensure robust performance and reduced downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 3-5 years of experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in vision system installation and application.
• 2-3 years of experience with pneumatics, conveyors, sensors, robots, AMRs, vision inspection systems, HMIs, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Install and support vision systems and robotics.
• Train operators on new equipment.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
• Lead acceptance testing and validation activities.
