Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support production operations and improve machine and equipment controls. This role involves assisting Maintenance Technicians with control problems, coordinating with external resources, and developing training and safe procedures for sustained improvements.

You will manage upgrade projects, learn new equipment operation, and support installation, start-up and training activities to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of plant power distribution, control systems, and PLCs preferred.
• CAD skills and ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine control problems with Maintenance Technicians.
• Collaborate with external technical resources to solve problems.
• Develop training documentation and safe procedures.
• Manage machine upgrade projects including estimates, installations, and start-up.
• Assist with equipment installation, checkout, start-up and training.
