Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 to support operations, maintenance, and safety initiatives in manufacturing excellence programs, including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. The role involves leading multiple hands-on projects, assisting with maintenance policy development, and driving process improvements in small caliber ammunition production across on-site sites.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; transcript required each term.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) prior to first rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Support maintenance in development of policies for preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements in ammunition production.
• Collect and communicate data to support engineering projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
