Job summary

Refresco is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to lead automation upgrades and drive continuous improvement across beverage production lines. You will program PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, optimize control strategies, and mentor technicians to maximize plant performance.

Qualifications include Rockwell/RSLogix expertise, Ethernet networking, and a background in electronics or electrical engineering. This on-site role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on beverage

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Rockwell Automation PLC, VFD, HMI, and Servo System programming and troubleshooting expertise.
• PLC programming using RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 and FactoryTalk Studio software.
• DeviceNet and Ethernet I/P knowledge will be key for success.
• Remote communication and I/O systems experience.
• SQL Server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot controls automation systems and determine root cause; implement permanent solutions.
• Perform predictive maintenance analysis and issue PM work orders.
• Analyze performance trends and drive process improvements.
• Lead automation infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery strategies.
• Design and implement process control strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Develop and program PLC, SCADA, and DCS for process automation.
