Zusammenfassung

Krier Beverage is seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to own and improve automation, electrical, and industrial tech across our beverage production and canning lines. You will address PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, troubleshoot floor equipment, and lead projects from concept through start-up.

You’ll partner with maintenance and engineering to boost line reliability and OEE while ensuring safety and quality on the plant floor.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field; hands-on exp considered.
• 3+ years in industrial controls, PLCs, or electrical systems in manufacturing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and PM skills.
• Experience with Allen Bradley controls, drives, and servomotors.
• MS Excel, Word, and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Strong organization and time management with changing project needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Able to work on the plant floor in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and reliable production.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary technical resource for PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Optimize existing automation and electrical systems; eliminate legacy components.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems and subsystems throughout the facility.
• Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment in beverage production and packaging.
• Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance for controls and electrical systems.
• Lead controls-related capital projects from requirements to startup and commissioning.
• Work with OEMs, integrators, contractors on controls hardware and software solutions.
• Communicate production issues with operations management; plan downtime around schedule.
• Commission new equipment and integrate into existing controls and production systems.
