Job summary

Holland Roofing Group is seeking a proactive Skilled Trades Recruiter/HR Generalist to own the full recruiting lifecycle for roofing field roles. You’ll source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and trade schools, screen applicants, and partner with managers to forecast staffing needs.

You will support onboarding, background checks, and HR tasks while maintaining accurate HRIS data and handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of skilled-trades recruiting experience in construction, roofing, or manufacturing.
• Experience proactively sourcing candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
• HR experience supporting HR Generalist responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• PHR or similar certification is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting process for roofing field positions and related roles.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, networking, outreach, and schools.
• Write and post engaging job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen applicants, interview, and identify strong candidates for managers.
• Maintain an active pipeline for current and future openings.
• Assist with onboarding, background checks, and pre-employment tasks.
• Support HRIS data upkeep and confidential information handling.
