Job summary

Holland Roofing Group in Florence, KY is seeking a dynamic Skilled Trades Recruiter / HR Generalist to own the recruiting process for roofing field positions, including roofers and foremen. Qualifications

• 3–4 years of skilled-trades recruiting experience in construction or roofing.
• Experience proactively sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
• HR experience supporting the HR Generalist responsibilities of the role.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system.
• PHR or other HR certification is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting process for roofing field positions and related roles.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, networking, and schools.
• Write and post engaging job ads to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and short-list strong candidates.
• Partner with managers to define staffing needs and skills required.
• Maintain an active pipeline for current and future openings.
• Track recruiting activity, expenses, and market information.
• Assist with onboarding, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain HRIS records and support HR tasks for the HR Director.
• Support employee relations and HR projects as needed.
