The dispatcher collaborates with drivers, fleet maintenance, and the supply chain team to ensure vehicle readiness and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with up to 1 year of Transportation, Customer Service, or other relevant experience.
• Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas through various mediums.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifts in priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loads assigned to drivers, resolving issues that affect pickup or delivery times and communicating with customers.
• Maintain documentation of driver detention time for accurate pay.
• Support safety culture by daily messages and monthly driver briefings; enforce DOT/comapny requirements.
• Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate professionally with drivers via phone and system messages; foster driver engagement and productivity.
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance and drivers to ensure vehicle readiness.
