Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Manager of Pro Trading, Institutional & Derivatives Communications to lead external communications programs aligned with Kraken's product strategy, targeting professional traders, derivatives users and institutions globally.

You will develop and execute strategies that expand Kraken's thought leadership, build a bench of spokespeople, and collaborate with executives to craft strong messaging and engage key stakeholders in the crypto trading ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and communications strategy skills; ability to translate complex topics for senior leaders.
• Experience leading and executing communications programs; crypto experience preferred.
• Proactive, results-driven with ability to work across dispersed teams and with executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated external communications strategy aligned to Kraken's business goals for pro trading, derivatives and institutions.
• Expand Kraken's thought leadership across professional and institutional segments and reach new audiences through storytelling about trading products, risk management and market infrastructure.
• Develop and expand Kraken's bench of spokespeople at the executive, product and segment levels; resonate with traders, fund managers and institutional decision-makers.
• Prepare communications materials including announcements, talking points, media statements, speaker submissions, pitches and briefing materials tailored to professional audiences.
• Build connectivity with institutional partners, trading desks, market data providers, the communications team and external agencies serving the pro/institutional space.
• Bring social media first thinking to media relations and content, focusing on platforms used by professional traders and institutions.
