Job summary

Kraken, the parent Payward-backed platform, seeks a Manager, Pro Trading & Derivatives Communications to lead external programs aligned with product strategy and to serve professional traders, derivatives users, and institutions globally.

You will develop strategies that expand Kraken's thought leadership, build spokespeople, and craft messaging across executive, product, and segment levels. This role emphasizes media relations with a social media mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of experience leading and executing communications programs; crypto experience preferred.
• Highly proactive, results-driven and able to translate complex topics for senior leaders.
• Experience working with a geographically dispersed workforce and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute external communications programs in support of product strategy for pro trading, derivatives and institutional segments.
• Develop integrated strategies to expand Kraken's thought leadership and brand among professional traders and institutions.
• Expand Kraken's bench of spokespeople and craft executive messaging for key audiences.
• Prepare communications materials including announcements, talking points, media statements, pitches and briefing documents.
• Collaborate with institutional partners, trading desks, market data providers and external agencies.
• Bring social-media-first thinking to media relations and content.
