Job summary

City of Pasadena's Pro Shop team seeks a part-time Pro Shop Worker I to assist with customer service, merchandise sales, and basic course upkeep. Responsibilities include tee time scheduling, reservations, and guiding players on the first tee, while keeping the shop and grounds orderly and welcoming.

Ideal applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver’s license, and some customer service or retail experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 1 month of related experience and/or training.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
• Preferred: Customer service, retail, or golf course operations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with POS systems.
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service, merchandise sales, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Schedule tee times, organize order of play, and start players on the first tee.
• Take reservations, maintain records of tee times, and answer course questions.
• Operate the pro shop: merchandising, stocking, cleaning, and restroom upkeep.
• Maintain cart barn and grounds; perform basic golf cart maintenance as needed.
• Report equipment or facility issues to the Superintendent and follow safety policies.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
