Job summary

San Pedro Golf Course is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to thrive in a hospitality-driven environment. You will assist with POS revisions, tee time systems, and billing, while promoting golf activities and maintaining inventory in the pro shop.

Responsibilities include training, ensuring accurate payments, and coordinating outings. A flexible, patient team player with basic computer skills will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Regularly stands, walks and sits; may lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in wet/humid conditions; outdoor weather.
• English reading and speaking required to perform duties.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering POS revisions for green fee sales, merchandise, and billing; coordinate with Accounting on policy updates.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets, accept payments, resolve discrepancies, and track force posts.
• Promote all club golf activities.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked golf shop; assist buyers with procurement and merchandising.
• Prepare for golf outings: scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, and pairing sheets.
• Assist with associate training.
• Incorporate safe work practices and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
