Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a dedicated Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive outstanding service and accurate product information in our Los Angeles store.

You will lead certification courses, reinforce the company’s basic P’s of retail, supervise merchandising, pricing, and stock, and greet customers to assist with selections. Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience with accurate product information.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Assist at checkout using the POS system and process refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
