Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while maintaining store cleanliness and knowledge of inventory. You will engage with customers, assist with upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, and manage daily credit account collections.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Confidently engage customers and promote products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
