Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will collect payments, handle returns, and maintain store hygiene.

Strong customer service, safe driving and product knowledge are essential as you upsell and build relationships with customers. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and operate delivery equipment.
• Read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with stock counts.
• Keep knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to aid sales.
