Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise; responds promptly to questions.
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Collects carts and helps maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the store and parking lot.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection.
• Operates store equipment as needed depending on role/department (e.g., Zebra phone, copiers, CCTV, etc.).
• Communicates stock, special order merchandise, product features, warranty, and Lowe’s program information to customers.
• Follows Lowe’s safety policies and procedures, including proper use of equipment and safety devices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Loader responsibilities for Pro: support Pro customer relationships from arrival through order completion, loading, staging, and order fulfillment.
• Remains visible to support Pro loading area and responds quickly to loading requests.
• Builds relationships with repeat Pro customers and supports enrollment in Pro Rewards and Pro Credit offerings.
• Maintains Pro Standards in parking lot and under Pro canopy and completes required training.
• Loads customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs.
• Ensures orders are loaded accurately while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Loader responsibilities for Garden Center: assist customers and associates loading products and completing orders.
• Remains visible to support customer needs in the Garden Center loading area and completes training as needed.
• Supports large, high-quality orders and partners with Garden Center Supervisor to stage orders for pickup.
